Georg Fassl is an Austrian architect active in practice, teaching and research.
Georg attended the Ortwein-School of Arts and Design in the field of Interior and Furniture design, received his Master’s of Science degree in Architecture from the Graz University of Technology with distinction and completed postgraduate studies, focusing on Spatial Design, at the Zurich University of the Arts. During and after his studies, Georg worked in architectural studios in Graz, Berlin and Vienna and was academically involved in the Institute of Architecture and Media (TU Graz) as well as the Digital Gnomonics research group (ETH Zurich/TU Vienna). Since 2016 he is assistant researcher and lecturer at the ATTP, where he founded the Daedalus Observatory, a space for architectonic research on the ‘mobile’ and ‘immobile’, as well as the Studio SOL design studio.
